Wounded Warriors Family Support’s High Five Tour rallies Americans to say “thank you” and show their appreciation to our country’s military families for their sacrifices. Our tour also raises funds to build “smart homes” for deserving wounded warriors and their families.
This summer, the Wounded Warriors Family Support Mustang will hit the road for the High Five Tour 2013. During the five-month tour, the 2013 Mustang GT500 “Super Snake” will cover more than 21,000 miles, traveling to more than 60 cities and making stops in 48 states. We invite Americans of all walks of life to show their support for military families by visiting a stop on the tour and signing the car with a message of support to our country’s veterans and their families.
Through the High Five Tour 2013, Wounded Warriors Family Support has pledged $500,000 toward building two “smart homes” for deserving wounded warriors and their families in Fayetteville, N.C., and Guthrie, Okla. But we need your help to meet our goal. The road to recovery can be a long and difficult struggle for our nation’s wounded warriors and their families.
Every donation, large or small, is deeply appreciated and helps us meet our goal of making these “smart homes” more than just a set of blueprints

A “smart home” is a custom-designed house built to address the individual needs of our wounded warriors. The homes are energy-efficient and provide severely wounded veterans ease of accessibility and automation that allows them to live more independent lives.
